Dr. Kendal grew up in Vermont and received her Bachelor of Arts from Wellesly College in Massachusetts. She attended George Washington University Medical School in Washington D.C., where she also did her post-graduate training. Dr. Kendall then worked in the D.C. /Virginia area until October 2009. At that time she left her large internal medicine practice of 11 years to come to Santa Fe with her husband, Jim Ledyard. He is Head of School for the New Mexico School for the Arts. Dr. Kendall has two children, a son and daughter. Her son resides in Virginia and owns a home energy conservation insulating and improvement company. Her daughter is a MD/PhD candidate at Penn State Medical Center in Hershey, PA. Her hobbies include hiking, golfing, photography, and traveling. |
