I obtained my Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) from Arizona State University in 2002. Prior to moving to Los Alamos, I worked in Tucson, AZ in a community mental health clinic for several years counseling adults with a variety of issues, the majority of whom were contending with severe mental illness. After moving to Los Alamos in 2004, I began practicing psychotherapy with adults, adolescents and families at the Los Alamos Family Council and at Pojoaque High School before entering private practice in 2011. Currently I specialize in treating adults and adolescents and their families dealing with disorders of mood (depression including post-partum, and bipolar illness), anxiety (including PTSD), substance use problems (abuse and dependency), grief and loss, as well as relational and adjustment problems causing distress. In my off time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our animals, and being outside on my bike in the beautiful landscapes of New Mexico.
